Emese Balogh obtained her degree in Recreational Facilities and Sport Management in 2007 at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences of the Semmelweis University.

Her first professional experience was as the assistant of the executive director of Denzel Autó Hungaria Kft., where she handled PR, marketing and administrative tasks.

From 2003 she spent four years at the Hungarian National Tourist Office as the assistant of the director of the domestic network. Her diverse tasks included the preparation of managerial meetings, presentations and conferences; the elaboration of public procurement procedures and their follow-up; the organization of international and domestic events as well as providing assistance to decision making by researching and structuring related information.

Owing to her insight into tourism, she was also made responsible for tourist information (Tourinform) offices in the Trans-Danubian region. As the coordinator and supervisor of more than 50 offices, she was in charge of managing relations with strategic partners and she also assisted with different tourist projects and marketing matters.

She joined Tourconsult in January 2007 as executive assistant.

She speaks fluent German and some English.
